Weddings and Tball!

I finished up a wedding frame and card for my sister to give as a gift this past week and also a t-ball layout of my adorable nephew!

This is the 4th frame I have made exactly like this and I just think they turn out so nice.
I got this frame at Michaels for $9 with my coupon and paid $2 for the dark purple ribbon. So for $11, a little bit of vinyl and my time, I made a great wedding gift!

I also made a simple card that matches the wedding colors. I used Mother's Day Bouquet for the flower. It's all really shiny and looks much better in person.

Just for nostagia I wanted to post the frame I made for my sis-in-law and bro-in-law. I love the simplicity of the frame and how it features the new name of the lovely couple!

And, to completely change it up, I have the first of what will be 9 t-ball layouts of my nephew's season. We live super close to them (two blocks away) so we were able to go to every game and had a blast watching him.
I used a sketch from my Sketch Support book and Sports Mania for the baseballs. I also used Makin' the Grade for the title letters. I like how it turns out and can't wait to do some more!

I am dying to show off a strawberry layout that I did of my niece but I have to print one picture. Grrrrr.

Halloween Party and Baking

Halloween is my mom's absolute favorite time of year so I have a lot of Halloween layouts to do from the party and baking before the party. I used Happy Hauntings, Mini Monsters and Rock Princess for all of these layouts.

Need more time!

When I get home each night, I am exhausted. Even though I only have 11 students, they are so high energy and spirited that I am just ready to nap after work! I resist a nap, but I never have the energy to accomplish any scrapping. So I have been slowly finishing up the last few layouts of my 2010 book. Admittedly, I need to title and embellish a few pages and I also need to design and make the cover pages, but it is 99% done now!

First, here is a quick picture from a zoo trip that I took with my lovely sisters and my gorgeous niece!

And here are a few layouts that I have finished lately:

These are simple layouts from Christmas Day. We start at the in-laws and end up at my mom's house and these are the pictures from that day. I realized that I need a really good Christmas cartridge--I have Winter Frolic, Winter Wonderland and Jolly Holidays but they lack something for me. Maybe I will find that perfect cartridge soon!

The last layout that I am sharing for today is from a game night that we had with my sis-in-law, bro-in-law and nephew, as well as my sister and husband.

I like how it turned out--simple with the focus on the pictures. I used the game remote from Boys Will Be Boys and also the font.

That's all for today! I have thee cutest strawberry layout of my gorgeous niece that I finished this morning, but I have to print one more picture before I can share--it's is awesome!

Long weekend = Crafty time!

Since I got an extra day off this weekend, I was able to find some time to craft! I completed a few layouts that I wanted to share and I am almost finished with another!
I love how this one turned out! It's from my cousin's wedding on New Years Eve/Day. She kept calling it a marrying party and that was the inspiration for my title, which was cut from Lyrical Letters. I also used chipboard (or a wheat thins box!) and popped up the "marrying" which I think gives it a nice effect. I used tulle for the bow and made a cute pinwheel flower thingy out of the zebra paper picking up the zebra in my sister's tank top. I am wearing a pink tank that you can barely see but it matches the bright pink on the layout.

And I have another Christmas layout that is the complete opposite of this one!

I used Designer's Calendar, Winter Frolic and Opposites Attract on this one. I like the muted color pallette of the papers and the simplicity of it.
I am nearly finished with another Christmas layout--then I only have one more left (for 2010).
