1. I went to college right after high school to be a high school English teacher. After I got my bachelor's degree, I was too scared to get my master's because I would be 22 years old and teaching kids who were only a few years younger than me. After a series of dead end jobs that didn't use my degree, I went back and got my master's in PreK-3 education and I can not wait to get my first permanent job!
2. I started dating the neighbor kid in 1998 when I was a sophomore in high school (and he was a senior). 12 1/2 years later we are still together and have been married for 6 of them!
3. My two favorite things to do--read and craft--fight for my time. Usually crafting wins, but I always read before bed! Both calm me tremendously and keep my anxiety levels at all-time lows!
So, that is that. Just a few things about me! Since this is my first award, I am not sure if I am supposed to pay it forward or not. I will figure this out in time and I hope you enjoy looking at my stuff!
