I have a sweet cupcake layout that I did for a little birthday celebration for my niece last September. We had lunch at Applebee's where she opened her presents and had cupcakes. I used Rock Princess for the cupcakes and Zoo Day and Lyrical Letters for the letters.
I stitched the border with using my Sew Easy--I wish I was better at it. I had to correct some errors because it looked like I was drunk when I punched the holes! I love how it turned out!
And the next layout I have is a two-pager of the kids in their Halloween costumes at our family's big party! I used Happy Hautings and Lyrical Letters on this one.
I have tons more pictures from that party so I can't wait to do more Halloween pages!

Playtime and Football
I have been hanging out with my niece for the last three days while her (preggo) mommy recovers from an unexpected appendectomy so I have not scrapped at all! But I do have two layouts that I finished before her visit that I would like to share.
The first one is a layout of that gorgeous niece playing. I made some paper rosettes and kept the layout really simple and bright.
I used my new clearance Feeling Groovy Lite cartridge for the title. I love how the rosettes look, even though I had to fight with tiny one forever to get it together!
The last one for today is another football layout of my cousin. I really like how this one turned out--I scraplifted from a layout on scrapbook.com and I really enjoy it.
Again, pretty simple with stars from Doodlecharms--they are my favorite stars! I used a little craft paper for the journaling and background for the stars. Couple pieces of black twine, two eyelets and some white pen on the stars and I am finished!
I bought massive amounts of paper this week (I kept finding good deals that I couldn't pass up) so I need to get back to scrapping tonight!

Layouts, Layouts and More Layouts!
I am so behind on posting my layouts so I have a lot to share today!
Here are some sports layouts that I did using Sports Mania:
Thank you so much for looking at the crazy long post! I should not get so behind again!
Here are some sports layouts that I did using Sports Mania:
This next one is quite simple. I did a photo shoot for some of my hubby's family (they are all one family--if that makes sense) and this are just a few pictures that I wanted to add to my 2010 book. Pretty sure the little camera is from Create a Critter and I'm not sure where I got the flower accents that I used.
Black Friday shopping is always so fun, yet so exhausting! I snapped a few pictures from last year and love how this layout turned out. I used Doodlecharms for the stars.
Last year, hubby and I went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with our nephew who dressed up like Buzz Lightyear. In the layout, I combined traditional Halloween colors with a huge Buzz cutout.
In my town, they decorate the courthouse and square with Christmas lights. I tried to take my niece to see them but she wasn't interested--she had fallen asleep in the car and wasn't pleased to be awake! I used Create a Critter for the lights and Winter Frolic for the bulb.
Each Father's Day, we have been having a big cookout at my mom's to celebrate. This is a very simple layout from last year--I just couldn't decide what I would embellish it with so I left it plain! I do love how the title came out...I welded together a bunch of different fonts to make it.
I have a wedding layout next. Simple again. I used Doodlecharms and Mother's Day Bouquet on this one. I picked up the colors of the wedding in the paper.
And I have two more 2 pagers left! They are from our cookout and fireworks last year. I used Doodlecharms, Sweet Treats and Block Party on these. Thank you so much for looking at the crazy long post! I should not get so behind again!

Glow Party
My nieces (and brother and sister-in-law) came home from Florida this week and we had a great Glow-in-the-Dark party for Kami, who is turning 6 next week and also for Emma, a friend of their family who came up with them and turned 9 on Saturday. We had a huge family cookout with excessive amounts of food, lots of laughs, a homemade birthday cake made by me!, and massive glow--everyone wore a glow bracelet and the kids had a blast with their glow-in-the-dark party favors.
I made a birthday banner for the girls using Paisley and Martha Stewart Glow-in-the-Dark glitter. Unfortunetly I did not get a picture of it glowing, but here it is during the day.
I also made her card using Paisley and the glow glitter. Here is a great picture of it under the black light. It looked quite awesome!
Also, here is a quick picture of the girls with their glow stuff on. Obviously it is quite hard to take a picture of them glowing because without the flash, they have to hold really still and that is nearly impossible for 6 and 9 year olds.
And finally, my wonderful, gorgeous family. We have been getting together so much more often lately and it's been nice!
Yesterday I got to spend the day with my brother's family at the zoo and I had a great time, even though it was super hot and sticky! Here's a quick shot of me, my niece Kami, my niece Jaycie and Emma.
I'm going to miss them tremendously since I probably won't see them again til sometime next year.

My Pink Stamper Design Team Tryout
Looking through my normal blogs, I noticed that Robyn at My Pink Stamper had a design team tryout posted. The requirements were to use orange, turquoise, green and brown, along with another color of choice and make a layout, card or some other project. Well, it was perfect because I had just picked up some paper at Hobby Lobby to work on a layout from last Thanksgiving when I was baking with my niece and those colors fit perfectly! And I had ribbon that contained all of the colors to tie it all together. It was simply meant for me to give it a go!
I didn't use a great deal of Cricut on this one but I LOVE the way it turned out! I used Birthday Bash for the banner shapes, Bloom for the flowers, Lyrical Letters for the "made with", Nate's ABCs for the "LVE", and Everyday Paper Dolls for the heart.
I used some twine from Trendy Twine and some green/gold Stickles on the heart.
I am happy with what I am submitting--of course, it's a long shot but I am quite excited with the simplicity and beauty of the layout.

Swingsets and Zoo Animals; Super Models and Family Pictures!
I have been scrapping away...it's too hot to do anything else so crafty time and Veronica Mars (have you ever watched this show--it's quite a good high school mystery show!) have been my time fillers.
First, is four pages from a zoo trip last fall. It was my niece's first time at the Columbus Zoo and we had a wonderful time! I had a hard time picking pictures so these pages have tons of them!
I used Create a Critter and Zoo Day for all of the cuts on these pages.
Here is a few pages from different times playing; once with my nephew in his yard and another of my niece at the playground.
This has very little Cricut--just the title and the shape behind it but the pictures are soooo cute that I had to share! I mean, how cute is my niece????
And finally for today, I have a layout of pictures of my family (hubby's side). We finally did family photos last fall--I used the tripod and set them up myself and had my sister push the button! I think the layout turned out really cute; sweet and simple, letting the photos shine!

I used Robotz and Boys Will Be Boys on this page. It has a lot more cuts than I normall do on a page but I think that it turned out pretty good.
I used Locker Talk, Makin the Grade (two cartridges I rarely ever use!) and also Robotz for the font at the bottom.

I have officially finished up the first set of pictures that I printed for my 2010 scrapbook. I have it all caught up until mid-June; however, I take an excessive amount of pictures and I can not seem to just pick a few (10 or less) to make a 2 page layout. Therefore, some of my future events will be 4 or more pages and I just can't help it!!!
Anyway, here are the ones that I have been working on lately.
Adorable layout of my gorgeous niece when she stayed with us last year. I used Mother's Day Bouquet for the flowers but I can't exactly remember what I used for the font.
I used Sports Mania to complete this softball layout. I really like the simplicity and clean lines of it.
I used Birthday Bash and Once Upon a Princess (for the journaling shape) on this layout of my mom's birthday.
I used Boys Will Be Boys for the monster truck and the word 'monster' and Robotz for the other words. I also used some twine behind the monster truck.
For this one, I used Everyday Paper Dolls, Jubliee and Robotz. These pictures were taken while we waited on my mother-in-law to have gallbladder surgery and I just love the title that my sister came up with!
I also Boys Will Be Boys again for this layout of my hubby and our nephew playing football in our yard.
Now I am on to the rest of 2010--I just got my pictures yesterday through mid-December so I have a lot of work to do! I still wonder if I can get my 2010 book done before I go back to work in August!
