Altered Mailboxes

I have three of the cutest nieces in the entire world and I wanted to give them something special for Valentines Day. Two of them, Jaycie and Kamryn, live in Florida so I rarely get to see them, but I always try to send them something for holidays. The youngest niece, Kira, lives about an hour away so I get to see her more often, but I knew she would enjoy candy and chocolate!

I used the tutorial here to make my mailboxes and it was super easy and they turned out really cute. Only a $1 at Target for each of them and I was able to make an original gift for each of them.

I used paper from a stack that I got at Hobby Lobby during the Black Friday sale, the ribbons are from my every-growing stash and I cut the three adorable animals from Create a Critter.

I am going to put the little notecards in the mailboxes with some candy and chocolate. I can not wait to send them to my nieces in Florida and share them with Kira.

Now, I just need to finish the two for my rotten nephews!
